The Hobart Handler 125 is a DC wire feed welder. It welds with .030–.035 in (0.8–0.9 mm) self-shielding flux cored wire. The Hobart Handler 125 Welder is a great welder for farm/home use, light fabrication and light maintenance/repair work.
You can weld up to 3/16 inch steel with this welder.
The Handler 125 EZ has Hobart’s unique Single-Knob Control making it the quickest and easiest welder to set up and use. Just plug it into 115 VAC, select the mild steel thickness with the Single Knob Control and you are ready to weld.

I have a Hobart 125 welder with the optional MIG upgrade kit.
It is the first and only welder I have at the point, but I am very satisfied with it. I thought it was very easy to learn on, and it has never given me any problems.
I was going to get a Hobart handler 120 welder, but I could not find any available… I guess they are in high demand.
The handler 120 is a great welder, but the 125 has been nothing but bad luck for me
My handler 125 is portable and easy to use, BUT I have had it over two years and have not completed a single job without stopping to make a repair.
